One Year Overseas Study to Brighton Grammar School (for 1st grade Senior High School Students)

Every year, one student from the 1st grade student of senior high has a chance to study at Grammar Brighton School in Melbourne, Australia. The student enjoys staying at Brighton Grammar School student's homes and attends year 10 classes for the whole year. When he comes back, he will move up to 2nd grade at Rikkyo Senior High School with his classmates.

U.S. Summer Camp (for Junior High School Students)

U.S. Summer Camp

We hold the U.S. Summer Camp for 3rd grade students from junior high along with students of Rikkyo Ikebukuro Junior High School. Participants visit California for about two weeks. The main lesson focuses on camping near San Diego. We aim to help students to learn English and foster international exchange through various local programs.

U.K. Summer School (for Senior High School Students)

U.K. Summer School

The U.K. Summer School program is designed for senior high school students. Participants go to an English language school in Cardiff, Wales, and do a homestay. Students of their generation from around the world join this program, which helps them participate in international exchange through various programs including language studies and sports.

Local School Experience in Australia (for Senior High School Students)

Local School Experience in Australia

The Local School Experience in Australia is designed for senior high school students. Participants go to Aquinas College and experience a homestay for about three weeks. They develop practical English skills while attending classes with local students. In addition, communication with a host family is one of the program's attractions.

New York Art Tour (for Senior High School Students)

New York Art Tour

The New York Art Tour is a magnificent one week opportunity to experience art by visiting museums and appreciating musicals. Students also have the chance to see the back stage of a theater in Broadway. The aim of this tour is to broaden the views of students keen about art.

Science Study Tour (for Senior High School Students)

Science Study Tour

The main purpose of the Science Study Tour is to observe auroras (northern lights) in Kiruna, Sweden. This one week tour has 5 nights in which students will have the opportunity to see auroras. During the daytime, students experience rare activities such as watching dog sled racing and a visit to Ice Hotel. This tour is intended to deepen the students' interest in science and nature.

Acceptance of Foreign Students

We solicit our student families to be host families for short-term international students, and ask them to support these students. Currently we have programs for Brighton Grammar School students visiting us for 8 days and for Aquinas College students for 4 days. We also accepted a gap year student from Eton College for 3 months in 2013. The visiting students take kendo, calligraphy or other classes rooted in Japanese culture and tradition, along with regular classes and after school they communicate with many of our students by joining club activities depending on their individual interests.
